Crash.Net - FIA slams Provera over Cyprus exclusion comments.

The governing body for the World Rally Championship, the FIA has today hit back at Peugeot boss, Corrado Provera, who said yesterday [Friday] that their exclusion from the Cyprus Rally was ‘excessive’.
An FIA statement noted that the “recent public comments made by Mr Corrado Provera” were “unfounded and inflammatory”. It also challenged Peugeot to explain why non-homologated parts were fitted if it gave no advantage.

“The component used by Mr Provera’s team was illegal.
